PANZER . REGIMENT  5     21 . PANZER . DIVISION (FELDWEBEL) LIBYA 1941

It's been a long time since I made any type of military figure or diorama so when I went to the local hobby shop they had a few Dragon figures going cheap so I grabbed them up. Once I got the desired pose for the figure and the equipement I wanted I repainted and weathered them using Vallejo and Reaper paints and pastels.
For the clothing I used the old boil and wash method, this is done by boiling water then adding a teaspoon of washing liqiud and a teaspoon of bleach. Let this boil and then add the clothing and simmer for about 30 minutes, take the clothing out and rinse under cold water and then let dry. Once the clothing is dry it will be worn looking and sit better on your figure.

RECIPE

1: Figure & Equipement - The figure and gear is from Dragon Models, the table was made from balsa wood.

2: Base   The base is made from thick pieces of foam, plaster was used with a mixture of fine sand and kitty litter. I covered the base and then just before it dried I attached the table and figure and grabbed some river stones and pushed them into the mixture. Pastels were used to brake up the sand and give it more depth.
