MAJOR DUTCH SCHAEFER (PREDATOR) 3-3/4 inch

| |

I have always wanted to do a Dutch figure but couldn't decide on which version I wanted then I watched Predator again and after watching it decided on the muddy version as I've never seen it done in 3-3/4" scale.
RECIPE
Dutch - The upper body is a Build n Brwal figure the lower legs and head are from a GI-Joe figure. The spear is made from thin stick and the blade on the spear is from a GI-Joe figure and was attached with super glue and then tied off using string.
The bow was also made using thin stick and string was again used, the mud was done by mixing plaster of paris and PVA glue and then paint was added to get the colour. The plaster once mixed with both the paint and glue becomes tacky and gives the appearance of smeared on mud.

The Base - is just an old base from another dio that I use that I keep in the cupboard.

Doc Savage - is a combo of the lower legs from a young Indy from TLC, boots from a SW figure, upper body from a Build N Brawl figure and head from a GI Joe figure. The belt is from the Hasbro Indy figure line with the holster and whip holder cut off, the shirt was made using an old hanky. Once put together the figure was painted and weathered using Vallejo and GW paints.

THE PHANTOM THE GOST WHO WALKS 3-3/4 inch

| |

The other day I was fixing up my web site and saw the 6 inch Phantom figure I did back in 2006 and thought that I would make him again in 3-3/4".
RECIPE
The Phantom - is a combo of a Marvel Universe Bullseye Body, boots from a Star Wars figure, hands from a Indiana Jones figure and the head is a Marvel Universe Bullseye with the face cut off and replaced with the front half of the face from a Star Wars AT-ST pilot.
Once the parts for the head were glued together I use GW greenstuff to putty the seams up and once dry it was sanded down. The mask is a piece of thin pleather as is the belt and holsters. The pistols are from some old GI Joes figures and the skull buckle and skull rings are from some old GW 40k pieces I just cut off and glued inplace.
The Phantom's wolf (Devil) is from a GI Joe figure and as with the figure it was painted and weathered using Vallejo and GW paints.

SKY
CAPTAIN and the WORLD of TOMORROW 6 inch

When
I started making Sky Captain I wanted the figure
to have that herioc feel of the movie yet
still add my own style to him so I decided to
give him a little ruggerness by giving the uniform
a dirtier look and given the face an unshaven
look. The uniform was the hardest thing to make
as it is actual cloth and also I wanted again
the feel of the movie in it but also wanted
that WW2 feel to it as well.
Once
all the parts were made or taken from the bits
box
the figure, clothing and equipment were painted
with Reaper Miniatures and Vallejo paints, There
was a lot of dry brushing and wash's to get
the desired look and feel to this character
and I'm really pleased with the way he turned
out.
